Adjuct to acupuncture,
chiropractic, massage
We are finding that clients who receive more than one type of body treatment
have better and quicker outcomes, as the treatment we provide at Riverwind
Therapeutics supports and is supported by other types of
treatment, such as massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. For example:
soft tissue work before a chiropractic adjustment can help the adjustment
go smoother and last longer, and chiropractic adjustment will take the stress
off of muscle and connective tissue, allowing it to release faster and more
fully, decreasing pain and increasing movement. Also, individuals who have
acupuncture, have soft tissue that responds much quicker to manual treatments,
even in older individuals.

Physician Prescription
You may need a prescription for occupational therapy from your physician before
you start treatment. If you are on Medicare or will be using your insurance,
or are seeking treatment for a medically diagnosed condition you will need
a prescription for treatment.
