Parkinson's Disease, stroke, Arthritis
Poor posture, back or neck tightness
Pre or post-surgical hip or knee replacement or procedures
Lymphedema
Tendonitis: shoulder, arm, foot
Shoulder pain and limited motion
Neck or back pain
Headache, Migraine
Dizziness, Tinnitis

Typical treatment methods
Hot rock, gentle soft tissue treatment techniques, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, movement facilitation techniques (NDT, Rood, Feldenkrais, balance, body awareness, Tai Chi), Kinesiotaping, Stretch and Spray, positioning, functional activities, balance, body mechanics, home safety and modification, home programs for stretching and strengthening, and carryover of treatment techniques.

Adjuct to acupuncture, chiropractic, massage
We are finding that clients who receive more than one type of body treatment have better and quicker outcomes, as the treatment we provide at Riverwind Therapeutics supports and is supported by other types of treatment, such as massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. For example: soft tissue work before a chiropractic adjustment can help the adjustment go smoother and last longer, and chiropractic adjustment will take the stress off of muscle and connective tissue, allowing it to release faster and more fully, decreasing pain and increasing movement. Also, individuals who have acupuncture, have soft tissue that responds much quicker to manual treatments, even in older individuals.
